Laura Melissa Jaramillo Rueda sees endless possibilities in ceramic expression. Her work explores the utilitarian, the symbolic and the decorative. Through Laura’s attention to detail, body awareness and hypnotic twist, she experiments with shape, texture, spatiality and volume to create unique works of art that leave the viewer free to interpret their use, purpose and symbolism, while appreciating their intricate detailing and composition. In 2021 Laura was invited to present her work at Milan Design Week's prestigious 1000 Vases exhibition.

The Intersection Collection erases the boundaries between the utilitarian and the decorative, and explores the space where two lines, two surfaces, two solids and two moments meet.
